Today, we welcomed our first Student of the Month for the 2023-24 school year.
When Principal Pete Roback asked for nominees from the counselors, Yayra Kpetsu's name was a recurring submission.
Yayra came to Rosemount in the beginning of her sophomore year. She is originally from Togo, Africa.
What impressed Yayra about school here was that it was free....that there was a personal relationship with the teachers....that there were so many clubs to be a part of. And speaking of clubs, Yayra has enjoyed the Boxing club @ RHS. We learned that volunteering is one of her passions. Yayra is a JAM Captain and mentors students. Her ambition is to become an attorney. Our club wishes you the best and know that a bright future awaits you.
