Today, our club heard from Karoline Buck. Karoline is a Rosemount resident and a co-founder of the group, Listen & Change. The Listen & Change group is a place to grow and provide forward momentum toward social and racial justice in our community and country. The first event hosted by Listen & Change was on June 6th at Rosemount Central Park. It was a well attended event and attendees heard from 12 different speakers. A movie night is being planned for the Fall. During her presentation, Karoline, also gave us recommendations for books, podcasts and movies related to racism. Listen & Change also has a Facebook page.
Our Club applauds the work and mission of the Listen & Change group and hope that we can partner with them in a future event.
