What impressed our club about our January Student of the Month, Michael Thomas, was how humble he was.
In his words, "I want to make a change in the world".  To start off, Michael acknowledged what made him successful.  First, he recognized his teachers at RHS.  Second, his peers, who inspired him to do well.  In addition to his rigorous schedule, Michael is an accomplished French Horn player and tutors other students after school but his favorite activity is the Science Olympiad.
We learned from Calvin Keasling (RHS Assistant Principal) that Michael is a finalist for a Quest Bridge scholarship, which is an extremely high honor.  Our club wishes you the best and we know that you will make an impact in this world.
