Today our guest was the December Student of the Month, Ben Ellis.Rosemount HS principal described Ben's character, "as kind of a student as one can be". An example was that Ben gave up his last Spring Break to stay and mentor/tutor students who were behind in their classes.
Ben scored a perfect 36 on his ACT test and is a National Merit Semifinalist.
Ben is also musically inclined playing several instruments and is part of RHS's award winning Marching Band.
He plans to take up Chemical Engineering and his #1 choice as of today is Northwestern.
Ben's proud parents are Jeff & Katie Ellis. Jeff is a member of our club and our President-Elect. Ben is the 2nd Ellis to be awarded Student of the Month by our club so the pressure will be on the other 2 younger siblings.
