Vivian Hark has been selected as the Rotary Student of the Month for January.  Vivian is the daughter of Paul and Beth of Inver Grove Heights.  Vivian is a well-rounded student at Rosemount High School and excels in many different areas.  She is currently engaged in five different Advanced Placement or Honors courses and also in Wind Symphony band.  
 
Vivian’s activities beyond the school day include Marching Band, Drum Line, Irish Nation, Taekwondo, and Model United Nations.  A passion of Vivian’s includes serving others.  She accomplishes this through her role as Vice President of National Chinese Honor Society and also tutoring English Language students.  Providing individual help and support to students has been a highlight and source of satisfaction during her time at RHS.
 
After graduation Vivian plans to take a gap year and study in China.  Upon returning home she plans to enroll at a four-year university and study International Politics.  Her top choices are University of Wisconsin-Madison, George Washington University, American University, George Mason University, and the University of Minnesota Twin Cities.
