Our SOM for December is Jonathan Wise. He is an impressive young man. Jonathan was nominated by RHS for the ExCEL (Excellence in Community, Education & Leadership) Award. Some of his activities include Student Council, Math Team, Varsity Swim Team, Pep Band, DECA, Nat'l Honor Society & French Honor Society,Church SS teacher & mentor. He helped start Best Buddies at RHS. Best Buddies provides the opportunities for long-lasting meaningful friendships between people with and without intellectual and developmental disabilities.
His hope is to attend Pomona College (private liberal arts college in Claremont, CA)....founded in 1887, Pomona is the founding member of The Claremont Colleges, a unique consortium of seven colleges.
