Rosemount Rotary Club is pleased to announce that Rosemount High School Senior Caden Hill is its May 2016 Student of the Month.

The Rotary Student of the Month Program is sponsored by Dakota County Technical College and Inver Hills Community College.

Caden Hill is “a great athlete and an even better person,” Rosemount High School principal John Wollersheim said. Wollersheim was introducing Hill as the Rotary Club of Rosemount’s final Student of the Month for the 2015-16 school year.

Hill, a senior at RHS, has lived his entire life in Rosemount. He is involved in cross country and track at the school and is vice president of the concert choir. He is a member of the school’s science Olympiad team and is active in National Honor Society, Spanish Honor Society and student ambassadors. He has performed as a member of the RHS theater program.

Hill volunteers his time at Feed My Starving Children and as a member of his church worship team.

For Hill, service is rewarding. “I usually find I get more out of the service than the people I’m serving,” he said.

Hill plans to attend the University of Northwestern in St. Paul next fall.

Each month during the school year Rosemount Rotary recognizes a student who exemplifies Rotary International’s motto, Service Above Self. The club meets for lunch at noon Fridays at Fireside Restaurant. Guests are welcome.
