The Rotary Club of Rosemount is pleased to announce that Rosemount High School senior Kaitlyn Stock is its March 2017 Student of the Month.

Kaitlyn lives in Farmington with her parents Rick and Kristen and her sister Ashley, a freshman at RHS.

Kaitlyn loves kids, volunteering, football, baking and car shows. She can be seen around school in her trademark cowboy boots.  She juggles being a full-time high school student, a full-time college student, working part-time at Hy-Vee in Lakeville, babysitting, and photography, all while managing Kaitlyn’s Kloset, a non-profit ministry she created to provide families in need with baby and children’s items and clothing.

Kaitlyn has excelled academically to the point that she actually only takes one class at RHS (CIS Spanish 5).  He is focusing almost entirely taking college courses full-time at University of Northwestern, St. Paul, even though she has still not graduated from high school.

Kaitlyn has been recognized repeatedly for her work through Kaitlyn’s Kloset and has received numerous awards and recognition, including the following: the Star of the North Congressional Award, Kohl’s Cares Local Scholarship, Kare 11 Kids Who Kare Segment Highlight, The Prudential Spirit of Community Award, Dakota County Regional Chamber of Commerce Charitable Foundation Scholarship and The President’s Volunteer Service Award.

Next fall, Kaitlyn plans to attend the University of Wisconsin, River Falls, where she plans to study Social Work and addiction counseling.
